How it works

This tool uses the Slovin's / Cochran's formula with a population correction for survey sampling.

Population: The total group you want to represent.

Margin of Error: The amount of "swing" or error you can tolerate in results.

Confidence: How sure you are that the population would choose the same answer as your sample.

Note: Calculated using a 0.5 population proportion (maximum variance).
